The year of 2022 is nearly at an end,
a sigh of exhaustion seems to be the theme.
Customers want more for their money and time,
Employees want less work and a balanced life.
An era of sensitivity that has created chaos,
and heightened sensitivity requires heightened service.
This festive season measure the service you get in two ways;
Was that time well spent or time well saved?
Did the person who serve you make you feel seen?
Did the person who serve you understand your needs?
Sometimes we don’t always get the results we want,
and if we feel cared for this can be enough.
I have one wish this festive period for the many who,
Judge, condemn and post that nasty review.
Ask yourself how high can your own service go … with more attention out and less ego?
Your service doesn’t need to be big or grand,
Just an act of kindness, a helping hand.
Give the gift of a smile and a nod,
and help create a society that is more caring than not.
